Spread over 72,000 square metres, the garden hosts more than 50 million flowers arranged into castles, arches, heart-shaped promenades and even a life-size Airbus A380 dressed entirely in blossoms — a Guinness World Record for the largest floral installation on Earth.
A Desert That Blooms
The miracle is as much engineering as horticulture. Drip irrigation reuses treated wastewater, delivering moisture drop by drop to every root while the desert sun does the rest. It is a masterclass in how scarcity breeds ingenuity.
Visiting
The garden opens from November to May — the cooler months — and closes for the scorching summer. Go early on a weekday morning; the light is soft, the crowds thin, and the perfume of fifty million flowers is at its strongest.
